What do we offer in a Electrical Maintenance package?
Our first job is to review the Electrical Installation and produce an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)
We then create an AUDIT FILE for ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE. This file will contain floor plans of the building and locations of:
- Past and future Electrical Condition Reports
- Distribution Boards / Fuse Boxes
- Main Fuse Cut Out
- Emergency Lighting
- Water & Gas Bonding
- Fire Alarm
This file will be kept on site and will become the main source of information for anyone working on the electrical installation.

Emergency Lighting Test
Emergency Lighting Tests
An Emergency Lighting test involves turning off the supply to the emergency lights to mimic a power failure. Each Emergency Light has to stay illuminated for at least a 3 hour duration.
Any Emergency Light that fails this test will be highlighted and will need to be changed to achieve a satisfactory certificate.

Commercial EICR
We carry out a number of EICR’s for LOCAL businesses around the North East. We try to make sure the person responsible for the electrical safety of the Factory is aware of his duties and we work together to create a paper trail of evidence and make sure the electrical safety is up to standard.
This report will then be filed in the AUDIT FILE we produce.
A guide price for a EICR will be £10-15 per circuit + VAT

IMPORTANCE OF THERMAL IMAGING
Thermal Imaging Inspection
We carry out Thermal Imaging for a selective number of clients and it is a great way to identify possible faults before they become dangerous.
It is also a good way to show that the Business and responsible duty holder are going above and beyond to make sure the Electrical Installation is SAFE.
A guide price for Thermal Imagery will be £300 per day + VAT
